Your Tasks
In this key role, you combine architecture, cloud engineering and technical consulting. You actively shape the IT strategy and target architecture, accompany projects and technology decisions, support the evaluation of new solutions and continuously develop our Azure platform. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and ensure secure, scalable and future-proof cloud solutions.
- Active participation in shaping the IT strategy, target architecture and technology roadmaps of Zuger Kantonalbank
- Further development of architectural principles, standards and governance requirements and their sustainable anchoring in the organisation
- Secure, scalable and automated further development of our Azure platform and landing zone
- Strengthening our cloud governance, security and network standards and their effective implementation in architecture and operations
- Consistent promotion of automation with Infrastructure as Code, especially Bicep
- Support in provider and solution selection as well as responsibility for all IT architecture aspects in project implementations
- Close collaboration with teams from security, infrastructure, data and AI as well as promotion of knowledge exchange
Our Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, Solution Architect or in a comparable role
- Understanding of architectural principles and ability to apply them pragmatically in projects and solutions
- Confident communication with technical and professional stakeholders as well as confident navigation between strategic and operational topics
- Independent working style, responsible working approach and pronounced hands-on mentality
- Very good German language skills
