- Interface management between OT systems (SCADA, PLC, HMI) and corporate IT (e.g. MES, Historian)
- Ensuring network availability and IT security in production environments (segmentation, firewall rules)
- Conducting troubleshooting, diagnostics and performance optimisation in OT infrastructures
- Supporting IT and OT projects (e.g. automation upgrade, IoT device integration)
- Training of specialist personnel in OT-related IT processes and tools
- Documentation and maintenance of OT network architecture and configuration
- Education as engineer/computer scientist or technician, experience in automation/electrical engineering and IT
- Several years of practical experience in IT support for production facilities or manufacturing networks
- Deep understanding of industrial communication protocols and fieldbus systems
- Experience with industrial network hardware (switches, managed routers, industrial firewalls)
- Very good knowledge of common IT fundamentals (routing, VLAN, DHCP, DNS)
- Teamwork skills and project management experience (coordination with IT/OT teams)

- Experience with SCADA/MES software, knowledge in automation (Siemens, Rockwell), certifications (e.g. CISCO CCNA/Industrial, CISA).

Tasks
- Planning, construction and operation of industrial control networks (Industrial Ethernet, PTP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP)- Interface management between OT systems (SCADA, PLC, HMI) and corporate IT (e.g. MES, Historian)

Profile
