As an Application Support Specialist for ERP systems, you shape a central application on which many employees rely daily. The operation and expansion of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central are in your hands. You act as a translator between the business department and technology and pragmatically advance processes. Development is part of the role, as you implement smaller extensions yourself.
Responsibilities:
You keep the ERP landscape running stably and decide which requirements are implemented first.
Together with the business departments, you analyse business processes and develop viable approaches from them.
Furthermore, you maintain interfaces and APIs to adjacent systems and expand them if necessary.
On a low-code platform, you configure digital process solutions and continuously improve them.
You also coordinate updates, tests and releases with an external partner, assist users and document changes in writing.
Qualifications:
You have already worked with Business Central or a predecessor system.
You quickly grasp operational processes and shape clean system solutions from them.
Additionally, you have a solution-oriented working style and a knack for conveying technical content understandably.
Your education is in business informatics or application development; alternatively, you convince with equivalent practical experience.
You also score with knowledge of REST APIs, OData or release management and with process knowledge from logistics, production, sales or service.
You bring negotiation-level German for close exchange with the business departments.
