Senior Financial Accountant - Basel (m/f/d)

You independently manage the general ledger accounting of several companies and are responsible for the correct posting of all business transactions
You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss CO punctually and with high quality
You are responsible for balance sheet reconciliations as well as provisions, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany matters
You analyse closing differences and clarify them together with the responsible departments
You ensure compliance with internal guidelines, legal requirements, and defined internal control system checks
You optimise and automate record-to-report processes and further develop financial processes in the ERP system
You participate in finance and transformation projects and act as a contact person for audit, controlling, treasury, and tax
Qualifications:
You have a commercial or business administration education with further training in finance and accounting, ideally with a federal diploma
You bring several years of experience in general ledger accounting as well as in independently preparing financial statements according to Swiss CO
You possess sound knowledge in balance reconciliations, provisions, accruals, intercompany, and VAT
You are proficient in using modern ERP systems; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is an advantage
You have very good German and good English skills; French skills are a plus
