About the job

The Municipality of Montreux is advertising a position for a:

Main tasks:

• Drive vehicles and light machinery (transport of personnel, equipment and various materials)
• Participate in the routine maintenance of the communal public domain (roads, paths, trails, watercourses and lake shores)
• Collect various waste with appropriate vehicles
• Clean and contribute to the maintenance of the city and village areas
• Participate in clearance work following bad weather and storms, as well as winter interventions

Desired profile:

• Knowledge of masonry and civil engineering work, mowing, pruning and general maintenance or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of maintenance and cleaning work or professional experience in the field is an asset
• Excellent knowledge of the communal network
• Training on invasive plants, safety, signage and snow clearance
• Able to work in a team and independently
• Collaborative spirit and ability to show initiative
• Sense of reflection, responsibility and duty

Special conditions:

• Holder of a driving licence for light vehicles (category B and BE)
• Work on weekends and public holidays in rotation shifts according to the established schedule and needs
