Senior Physician Clinic for Cardiac Surgery (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you can expect a versatile and demanding interdisciplinary clinical activity in a central hospital that covers the entire spectrum of modern adult cardiac surgery. You will work in a familiar, emerging, and highly motivated cardiac surgery team within a heart centre. There is close collaboration with cardiology and intensive care medicine. You will take on a varied role with advanced employment conditions as well as diverse professional and personal training and development opportunities. Additionally, prospects for taking on leadership responsibilities will open up to you.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the medical care of adult cardiac surgery patients, including performing and assisting in heart surgeries
- In this role, you participate in on-call duties and ensure continuous care of cardiac surgery patients
- You develop clinically, surgically, and scientifically and engage in education, further training, and professional development
- In this function, you take on organisational tasks such as the aortic clinic as well as other administrative duties
- As a Senior Physician Clinic for Cardiac Surgery, you actively contribute to the further development of the clinic
- In this role, you work closely and interdisciplinarily with neighbouring disciplines such as cardiology and vascular surgery
Qualifications:
- You hold the specialist title in cardiac surgery (FMH or equivalent) and are familiar with the Swiss healthcare system
- You are interested in modern cardiac surgery, innovation, and the further development of the specialty
- You are committed with enthusiasm to providing the best possible care for patients
- You are an open personality and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team
- You demonstrate strong teamwork skills
- You work independently and take responsibility within your area of tasks
