Group Leader Service - Otis Elevators

Basic Function

Ensure the operation of elevators in the Lausanne Riviera region by regularly performing maintenance and repair work (CC). Assist service technicians in maintaining and improving the efficiency and quality of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the practical introduction of new employees at the workplace and monitor the application of maintenance and safety guidelines.

• Support the service supervisor in organising rounds, planning operations, and managing teams.
• Act as a technical reference for the service technician, advising and assisting them in complex maintenance operations and/or occasional difficulties, particularly in fault finding and elimination during a breakdown.
• Release people trapped in the elevator
• Identify safety risks and contribute to the definition and implementation of corrective measures. Perform regular maintenance work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components of elevators and escalators within the assigned service area, in accordance with the maintenance manual.

Other

• Ensure compliance with the company absolutes (safety, quality, ethics) and all current policies, procedures, rules, standards, and fundamentals
• Guarantee the confidentiality of information provided
• Right and duty to say Stop if safety is not controlled (Stop Work Activity)

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrician, electromechanic, automation technician or equivalent with several years of experience in the elevator field.
• If you have several years of team management experience, it is a great advantage.
• French language is essential.
• A driving licence valid in Switzerland is required
• It is essential that the employee resides in the work region
