Linux Operations Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner offers WLAN and Network Access Control solutions and software development. The strengths of our ROCKEN partner are the evaluation, planning, implementation as well as the operation and support of WLAN and Network Access Control solutions.
Role:
The focus of this position is the operation and further development of a Linux-based IT infrastructure as well as the technical support of demanding customer projects. We are looking for a committed individual with experience in system engineering and a solution-oriented working style.
Responsibilities:
Operation, maintenance and expansion of a Linux infrastructure
Planning and implementation of changes and system upgrades
Participation in infrastructure and customer projects on-site and remotely
Handling technical enquiries in 2nd-level support
Administration of virtualised server environments
Creation of technical concepts, documentation and project documents
Analysis of technical requirements and development of suitable solution concepts
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or comparable qualification
Several years of experience with Linux systems and VMware environments
Good knowledge of system and network technology
Analytical, structured and independent working style
High customer orientation and strong sense of responsibility
Team-oriented personality with initiative
Very good German and good English skills
