Role:

In this role, you are responsible for your own purchasing area and combine operational procurement with strategic supplier and assortment development.

You manage international supplier relationships, coordinate external production partners, and ensure that availability, quality, deadlines, and costs are optimally aligned. At the same time, you work closely with product management, logistics, and quality assurance and continuously develop purchasing and planning processes.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the operational and strategic procurement of a technical assortment

• You manage requirements, inventories, and product availability while considering budget guidelines

• You support and develop international suppliers, especially in global procurement markets

• You conduct price, terms, and annual negotiations

• You analyse procurement markets and identify new suppliers as well as product potentials

• You coordinate manufacturing, assembly, and packaging orders with external partners

• You monitor quality and delivery performance and handle deviations

• You ensure high data quality in the ERP system and optimise purchasing processes

Qualifications:

• You have a commercial or technical basic education with further training, e.g. as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate

• You bring several years of experience in operational and strategic purchasing

• You have experience in international supplier management and global procurement markets

• You are familiar with demand planning, inventory control, and external production partners

• You convince with negotiation skills as well as good commercial and technical understanding

• You work analytically, independently, and solution-oriented

• You are confident in using ERP systems and have a good understanding of data and process quality

• You communicate fluently in German and have negotiation-level English
