Then join the Test & Technology department of the Touring Club Suisse (TCS). As a Junior Project Manager, you will participate in comparative tests, research projects, and the development of new testing methods. One of your main tasks will be to take technical responsibility for our test bench dedicated to two-wheelers and to conduct tests in the field of electric mobility, ranging from passenger cars to motorcycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, and other micromobility vehicles.

Your challenges

• Take technical responsibility for the operation and development of the test bench dedicated to two-wheelers.
• Plan, organise, and conduct comparative tests and product testing in the field of automotive technology.
• Manage projects related to electric mobility for all vehicle categories (passenger cars, motorcycles, electric bicycles, cargo bikes, electric scooters, and other micromobility vehicles).
• Develop, conduct, and document testing and measurement methods.
• Participate in national and international research projects.
• Analyse technical data, write test reports and specialised publications.
• Advise internal and external partners on technical matters.
• Present test results to the media, partners, and the general public.
• Collaborate with research institutes, universities, and partner organisations in Switzerland and internationally.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree (University of Applied Sciences, ETH, university or equivalent training) in automotive technology, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong interest in automotive technology and new forms of mobility.
• Passion for electric mobility and innovative automotive technologies.
• Analytical mindset and an independent, structured working method.
• Interest in practical testing, technical measurements, and the development of new methods.
• Initiative, sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team, and good communication skills.
• Excellent command of French or German, as well as good knowledge of a second national language. Good knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Category B driving licence.

Additional advantages:

• Initial practical experience in automotive technology or measurement techniques.
• Knowledge of electric mobility and high-voltage technology.
• Experience in using measuring devices and data analysis.
• Additional driving licences (categories A and/or C).
