Role:
You are the technical contact person for demanding flat and profile grinding machines and support customers during on-site service assignments. With your mechanical understanding and solution-oriented working style, you ensure the reliable operation of the systems worldwide - mainly in Europe - and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out service and maintenance work on customer-specific grinding machines
Systematic fault analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical and technical problems
Performing repairs, overhauls, and modifications on machines and systems
Installation and commissioning of CNC-controlled grinding machines
Conducting preliminary inspections, final inspections, and customer training
Carrying out worldwide service assignments lasting approximately 1 to 30 days
Qualifications:
Completed technical training, for example as a polymechanic, mechatronics technician or equivalent
Strong mechanical understanding, ideally complemented by further technical training
Experience with machine tools or knowledge of Siemens SINUMERIK 840D is an advantage
Interest in CNC-controlled grinding machines and complex technical systems
High quality and safety awareness
Fluent English skills in spoken and written form; additional foreign languages are a plus
High willingness to travel and deploy for international customer assignments
