Structure Manager at 30% (with possibility of an additional 30% educational time)

The Intercommunal Association for Daycare of Children Cossonay and Region (AJERCO) brings together 25 municipalities. The AJERCO Network's mission is to provide pre- and after-school group daycare (20 facilities) as well as family-based care that meets the evolving needs of families.

As part of the opening of our new 24-place UAPE in Cossonay, we are looking for a permanent:

General Mission

Your primary mission will be to recruit your future team and to participate in the setup and organisation of the UAPE in close collaboration with our cross-functional services.

As the structure manager, you are responsible for the smooth running of the establishment in pedagogical, organisational, financial and human domains, in collaboration with internal stakeholders. In this capacity, you develop, together with the educational team, the pedagogical project of the structure, ensuring its coherence with the values and objectives of the network.

You ensure the educational supervision of the children by implementing actions adapted to their needs and age, to support their overall development and autonomy within an inclusive and safe environment compliant with current regulatory requirements.

Regarding relationships with children and their families, you promote an educational partnership based on trust, listening and communication.

Furthermore, you actively contribute to the implementation of the management’s vision and decisions and ensure to maintain trusting relationships with all internal and external partners.

Finally, you will work closely with the daycare manager, as some premises are shared between the two structures.

Your Profile

- Hold a recognised Early Childhood Educator diploma ES, or another title accepted by SCAJE

- Proven professional experience in a similar position (minimum 3 years) with managerial experience

- Team management training recognised by SCAJE (or to be obtained within 2 years after starting)

- Knowledge of the CSE KIBE professional software is an asset
