Junior Assistant in Urology
We offer an internship of at least 1 month duration.You will take on
- Taking medical histories/admission examinations and basic ultrasound for planned admissions and in the emergency department
- Assistance in the operating theatre (theoretical and practical training), independently performing minor surgical procedures if suitable
- Care and assessment of patients on the ward, day clinic, emergency department and outpatient clinic (depending on suitability) up to assistant doctor responsibility
- Participation in departmental work such as ward rounds, patient care, reporting and maintaining electronic medical records
- No night, on-call or other duties on public holidays or weekends
You bring with you
- Ongoing medical studies (in the elective year or at least during clinical traineeship)
- Ability to integrate into operational processes
