Role:
In this role, you develop technical modernisation concepts for existing industrial plants and accompany projects from the initial customer enquiry to technical elaboration. You combine technical expertise with customer-oriented consulting and coordinate collaboration between internal departments, external partners and clients. In doing so, you create economical and future-oriented solutions for demanding automation projects.
Responsibilities:
Development of modernisation and retrofit concepts for existing automated industrial plants
Preparation of technical solution proposals considering economic and scheduling requirements
Creation of calculations, project schedules and technical tender documents
Development of detailed technical specifications as a basis for project implementation
Technical consulting and support of customers during the tender and project planning phase
Coordination of technical requirements with internal departments as well as external suppliers and project partners
Support of sales through presentations, technical workshops and project-related customer meetings
Participation in the planning and coordination of automation projects up to handover to realisation
Occasional business trips at home and abroad for customer support and project coordination
Qualifications:
Completed technical education specialising in electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable field
Professional experience in industrial automation, mechanical or plant engineering or a comparable technical environment
Good knowledge of PLC control technology and experience with common automation solutions
Experience in project planning and coordination of technical projects
Good English skills; additional languages are an advantage
Strong communication skills, team orientation and customer-focused demeanour
Independent, structured and responsible working style
Willingness to undertake national and international business trips
Fluent German skills
