To strengthen our team at the Victoria Hotel in Lausanne, we are currently looking for a Hotel Receptionist to join our dynamic and welcoming team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with professionalism and friendliness.
• Manage reservations and check-ins/check-outs.
• Respond to guest requests and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
• Handle telephone calls and emails.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure an optimal guest experience.
• Resolve any guest issues or complaints efficiently and courteously.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma in hospitality or equivalent
• At least one year of prior experience at reception in the hotel sector.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English (knowledge of other languages is an asset).
• Ability to work independently.
• Good command of computer tools and hotel management software.
• Positive attitude, service-mindedness and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays.
