IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Simulate attacks, uncover vulnerabilities and support customers in securing their systems: as an IT Security Engineer (SOC focus), you operate daily at the interface between consulting and technology. Developing SOC and SIEM environments is part of your daily routine, as is providing technical support to customers on security issues. If you have experience with penetration testing, you will also have the opportunity to actively conduct tests. This keeps your work varied and allows it to evolve with your strengths.
Responsibilities:
You contribute to the further development of SOC and SIEM solutions, both internally and in customer projects
You provide professional and technical support to customers on cybersecurity issues
You optimise and automate existing security processes
With appropriate experience, you also take on the execution of penetration tests
Additionally, you contribute to the further development of products and services
Qualifications:
You hold a recognised IT security certification, such as CEH, CISSP, CISA or OSCP
Practical experience in IT security engineering distinguishes you
You are familiar with SIEM engineering, for example via Splunk or Elastic Security
Experience in system hardening under Linux and Windows is an advantage
You are familiar with Linux engineering, whether from professional or private context
You communicate openly, enjoy exploring new technologies and are confident in German and English
