Are you ready to make a decisive contribution to the psychiatric care of children and adolescents in the canton of Bern? Become part of our team as a Senior Physician in the Ambulatory Care Bern, our central triage point and an important hub of outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric care including training and research in outpatient diagnostics and therapy. In our Ambulatory Care for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, you are responsible within a team of doctors and psychologists for the central triage and coordination of all diagnostic and therapeutic services as well as for the management and further development of outpatient care. The management of numerous specialised clinics, such as those for gender identity, migration, as well as school and training problems, and the expansion of further specialised services also belong to the scope of duties. In doing so, you can participate in innovative interventions and internationally recognised research and help to develop a modern child and adolescent psychiatric care system. You lead a dynamic team where you can contribute your expertise, leadership skills and passion for child and adolescent psychiatry. You drive forward innovative diagnostic and treatment concepts and train the next generation of professionals. Your tasks
- You lead a team of doctors and work closely and multiprofessionally with psychologists, nursing staff and social pedagogues
- You carry out conceptual work to further develop the treatment offer and supervision
- You are responsible for the evidence-based training of the doctors entrusted to you
- You are responsible for the networked collaboration with all regional offices as well as with the inpatient and day-patient treatment services of our clinic
- You are responsible for the networked collaboration with patients and their families, schools, training institutions and the wider health system
- You are involved in teaching, internal training programmes and research
Your profile
- You have a specialist title in child and adolescent psychiatry as well as leadership experience
- You have a doctorate; further scientific experience is an advantage
- You are motivated to apply diagnostic and treatment concepts according to current evidence-based guidelines and to contribute to the further development of the treatment offer
- You want to take on the challenge of leading competently both professionally and personally and of designing and implementing complex processes and concepts
- You can professionally assess a wide variety of situations and respond flexibly and competently
- You have excellent communication skills and lead authoritatively
- You are motivated to support treatment-related research and have an interest in scientific work
