To support their digital transformation and sustainably structure their artificial intelligence strategy, we are looking for an AI and Industrial Data Engineer.
AI and Industrial Data Engineer – 100% (M/F)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Roadmap: Define the AI roadmap, identify high ROI use cases and prioritise initiatives according to their operational and financial impact.

Data Architecture & Engineering: Structure, secure and exploit data flows from the ERP (SAP), MES, machine park and quality control equipment.

Development & Deployment: Design Machine Learning, industrial vision, predictive analysis and generative AI models adapted to production challenges.

Project Management & Industrialisation: Manage pilot projects (PoC), ensure their scaling (industrialisation), support change with teams and measure real gains.

Portfolio Management & Development:

Ensure upselling and cross-selling with regional strategic accounts.

Ensure customer satisfaction during the transition to operational teams.

Networking & Market Intelligence:

Conduct competitive monitoring in the Romandy market.

Represent the company at professional events (trade fairs, Chambers of Commerce, economic associations).

Priority Projects:

Forecasting production needs and advanced stock optimisation.

Automatic detection of deviations and quality defects by Computer Vision.

Deployment of an internal Copilot and an AI document assistant for knowledge management.

Implement predictive maintenance on the production tool.
MOBILITY & WORK ORGANISATION
-
Frequent customer visits along the Geneva-Lausanne-Fribourg/Neuchâtel axis.

Regular travel to the operational/headquarters (Canton of Jura) and occasional trips to German-speaking Switzerland (business meetings).
-
High availability and flexibility for travel required.
PROFILE
- Education: Holder of an Engineering degree (EPF, HES) or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in the development and operational deployment of AI solutions in a professional environment.

Key Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms.
- Strong knowledge in Computer Vision and integration of LLM / generative AI models.
- Experience with the Azure Cloud ecosystem.
- Skills in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, data architecture or automation (RPA/scripting) are real assets.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the industrial sector (machining/screw-cutting, quality control, Lean Manufacturing or Supply Chain) is a major advantage.
