Main Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing work on production equipment
• Ensure high machine availability as well as machine, work, and plant safety
• Analyse and resolve technical faults and derive sustainable improvement measures
• Carry out preventive maintenance work to reduce unplanned downtime
• Optimise existing production equipment and actively participate in continuous improvement processes
• Coordinate, instruct, and support external fitters and service partners
• Technical clarifications with plant manufacturers, suppliers, and internal specialist departments
• Assist with commissioning, machine acceptance, technical modifications, and retrofit projects
• Initiate and track orders in the ERP system for spare parts
• Document completed work, faults, and optimisation measures

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a mechanical profession, for example as a polymechanic, industrial mechanic, or comparable
• Experience in the maintenance of production equipment, ideally in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Good mechanical knowledge as well as basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical engineering; vacuum knowledge is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of troubleshooting, repairs, and sustainable improvements
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a high awareness of safety and quality
• Teamwork skills, willingness to cooperate, and open communication with production, engineering, suppliers, and external partners
• Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
