About the job
The University Clinic for Neurology is the largest neurological clinic in Switzerland and offers high-quality treatment both in basic neurological care and in highly specialised medicine. Annually, over 30,000 outpatients and approximately 2,000 inpatients are treated. The competence centre for neuromuscular diseases at Inselspital is one of the largest university clinical departments in Switzerland and is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with a broad spectrum of neuromuscular diseases. As a Kosek-recognised reference centre, we coordinate care for rare neuromuscular diseases together with other specialist centres and patient organisations. To strengthen our team, we are seeking a neurologist with a special interest and solid knowledge in both neuromuscular (including electrophysiological) diagnostics and the treatment of neuromuscular patients.

What you bring
- FMH specialist title in Neurology or equivalent
- Completed electrophysiological ENMG training (SGKN ENMG certificate) with in-depth knowledge and interest in neuromuscular diseases, ideally with extensive expertise in this area
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, ideally also good oral French skills. Additional foreign language skills are an advantage
- Independence and ability to work in a team
- Interest and skills to manage your own consultation areas and to shape them clinically and organisationally
- Enjoyment in supervising, further training and supporting assistant doctors
- High social competence, patient-oriented working style as well as very good communication skills
- Independent, structured and responsible working style combined with pronounced team spirit
