About the job
At the end of October 2029, our chief physician in Pfäfers will retire. To ensure a careful and forward-looking succession plan, we are filling this key position early. During a transitional phase, a co-chief physician model with clearly defined areas of responsibility is planned. During this time, there will be structured induction and close collaboration with the current chief physician.
- As part of the succession planning, you will take on the co-chief medical leadership of the psychiatric clinic Pfäfers and work closely with the current chief physician.
- You initiate, manage and accompany development and change processes, especially with regard to the Pfäfers clinic, while effectively contributing your expertise to the overall company of Psychiatry St.Gallen. In doing so, you promote constructive, cross-departmental collaboration in personnel, organisational and medical matters.
- In addition to your leadership role, you are clinically active and care for a clearly defined treatment area.
- You lead the Category A training centre in adult psychiatry and are actively involved in the recruitment, training and further education of medical and psychological professionals.
- You represent the clinic doctors and psychologists in internal and external committees and are actively engaged in networking.
- You are a member of the Pfäfers clinic management and can actively contribute your ideas and expertise to the further development of the clinic. In addition, you contribute your knowledge to site-specific and cross-site projects.
- You bring the necessary professional competence and passion to further develop and sustainably strengthen the Pfäfers clinic and Psychiatry St.Gallen together with us.
- You have a specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or an equivalent further education and professional practice licence recognised by MEBEKO.
- You have several years of professional and leadership experience in a psychiatric institution and a completed dissertation.
- You have already completed leadership or management training. A specialisation title or habilitation is an advantage.
- You are committed with pleasure to the training of medical and psychological staff and are characterised by a pronounced willingness to work interprofessionally.
- You bring pronounced leadership and management skills and combine entrepreneurial thinking with an efficient and structured way of working.
- You are a committed and socially competent personality with a high team orientation and motivation.
- You have good networking within the Swiss healthcare system.
