Blind Fitter / Metalworker 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Independent execution of service and repair work on venetian blinds, roller shutters, awnings and other shading systems

• Dismantling, assembly and replacement of existing systems

• Replacement of worn parts such as gearboxes, cranks, hinges, bearings and awning fabrics

• Retrofit and replacement of drives within the scope of professional authorisations

• Detecting and assessing faults as well as weighing up between repair and replacement

• Recording dimensions and technical details for quotations and material orders

• Friendly and competent on-site customer advice

• Digital reporting of work, working hours and material consumption

• Careful handling of service vehicle, tools and materials

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed training as a blind fitter EFZ or in the field of sun and weather protection

• Alternatively, training in metal construction or a comparable technical craft profession with solid practical experience and assembly knowledge; willingness to retrain

• Service and repair experience is an advantage

• Technical understanding and willingness to learn new products and workflows

• Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style

• Driving licence category B

• Good German skills and understanding of Swiss German

• Enjoyment of customer contact, a neat appearance and good manners

• Team spirit and sense of responsibility

• Safe working at heights and with ladders

What are my benefits?

• CHF 5,500-7,500 gross monthly salary at 100%, depending on qualification and experience
