Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management, planning and realisation of heating systems in demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects. You will take responsibility for heating projects from tendering and preliminary studies through technical project planning to installation, commissioning and final accounting. The focus is on the dimensioning of heat generation and heat distribution systems, the creation of execution plans and energy certificates as well as the technical leadership of installation teams. The position offers a varied range of tasks with high technical responsibility and direct influence on quality, cost-effectiveness and timely project completion.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of heating systems in residential, commercial and public buildings from the tender phase to final accounting
Technical project planning according to SIA phases with development of preliminary studies, system concepts, construction projects and execution-ready planning solutions
Creation of heating and installation plans including project, recess, insertion, coordination and execution plans
Calculation and dimensioning of heating systems with heat load calculations, hydraulic design and determination of required system capacities
Design of heat generation and system components such as heat pumps, district heating stations, storage tanks, pumps, fittings and heat emission systems
Preparation of technical submissions and energy certificates including WTA documents, EN-3/4/5/11 forms as well as acoustic evidence according to Cercle Bruit
Tendering and costing with preparation of cost estimates, material and performance calculations as well as economic offer bases
Work preparation and installation coordination with material disposition, resource planning, scheduling and organisation of construction site processes
Leadership and technical support of installation teams including deployment planning, technical instruction and control of executed installation work
Site management and execution control with coordination of involved trades, conducting intermediate inspections and monitoring installation quality
Commissioning, acceptance and project documentation including functional checks, defect rectification, handover documents and final acceptance
Cost, schedule and quality management with ongoing project monitoring, change order management, invoice verification and final accounting
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a building services planner EFZ specialising in heating, ideally supplemented by further training as a technician HF building services or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in planning and execution of heating systems with independent project management and site responsibility
Sound expertise in heating and energy technology, especially heat load calculation, hydraulic dimensioning, heat pumps and heat distribution
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and cantonal energy regulations, especially SIA 384/1, SIA 384/2 as well as requirements for energy certificates and sound insulation
Experience with WTA and EN forms as well as Cercle Bruit evidence and confident use of common CAD, calculation and Microsoft Office software
Experience in work preparation, installation management, site supervision and project accounting as well as interdisciplinary knowledge in sanitary and ventilation technology is an advantage
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, official submissions and communication with clients and installation teams
