Product Manager for Cosmetics & Medical Devices Development

RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Head of Product & Innovation, and working closely with the founder, you will be responsible for developing a portfolio of cosmetic products and medical devices. Your main tasks include:
- Monitoring the market, trends and competition in your categories in France, Switzerland and internationally, to inform the team’s strategic thinking and identify new growth opportunities.
- Contributing to the innovation strategy and feeding the 3-year innovation pipeline with relevant and high-potential product concepts.
- Managing product development from A to Z (concept, specifications, formula & packaging development, testing, industrialisation), coordinating with internal teams (regulatory, purchasing & supply) and external partners.
- Building and tracking product development schedules, alerting on risks (deadlines / budget).
- Developing launch kits (shooting briefs, claims, sales arguments), in collaboration with marketing and business teams (B2B & B2C).
- Analysing post-launch and routine performance of your product ranges, recommending possible optimisations (quality improvement, implementation of routines / packs, etc.).
PROFILE
- Higher education in business school, engineering school or scientific degree with marketing specialisation.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in marketing development in the cosmetics sector. Experience in medical device development is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of cosmetic product development from A to Z.
- Strong project management skills: internal/external coordination, respect for deadlines and budget.
- High creativity and sensitivity to digital communication. Experience in DNVB would be an asset.
- Analytical and structured mindset, combined with real autonomy, agility and a taste for challenge.
- Collaborative spirit: ability to work effectively in a small, fast-growing company.
- Fluent in French and English (spoken & written). German would be a plus.
