ZurichYour Tasks
- You are the first point of contact for residents in daily life, conduct conversations and act confidently even in challenging situations.
- You accompany residents in challenging life situations directly at their place of residence in the city of Zurich.
- You recognise challenging situations early, initiate appropriate prevention and intervention measures, and contribute to a safe and respectful coexistence.
- You work closely with social workers and psychologists in an interdisciplinary case team.
- You conduct regular rounds in and around the accommodation and ensure the safety of residents at all times.
- You promote the participation and inclusion of residents through active involvement in shaping communal living as well as enabling independent action in daily life and the living environment.
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training EFZ, EBA and at least two years of professional experience in care or support.
- Resilience, assertiveness and a de-escalating attitude in conflict situations.
- Professional approach in managing a working relationship (closeness/distance).
- Experience working with people in complex psychosocial life situations (e.g. addiction or mental illness) and/or expertise in the health sector.
- Very good written and spoken German skills (at least level C1) and additional asylum-relevant language skills are an advantage.
- Good MS Office user skills.

Your Salary
Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between 60,000 and 75,000 Swiss francs per year.
The exact salary depends on your education and professional experience. During the selection process, we will determine your salary based on our salary guidelines. Applicants who do not yet have the required knowledge or experience may be classified below the salary range in individual cases. Additionally, AOZ pays allowances for work at night and on Sundays. Further salary development depends on your performance and AOZ's financial possibilities.
