As a Network & Security Engineer, you are responsible for the reliable operation, further development and optimisation of modern network and security infrastructures. You work on demanding customer solutions, manage complex network environments and ensure stable and secure IT systems with your technical expertise. In doing so, you accompany exciting projects and contribute your expertise in a modern IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of modern network and security solutions with Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet
Ensuring stable network operation including maintenance, upkeep and changes
Analysis and sustainable resolution of faults in the area of network and security
Further development and optimisation of backbone and access networks
Implementation of technical customer projects and individual infrastructure requirements
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or technical further education
Experience as a Network Engineer or Security Engineer in the carrier, ISP or enterprise environment
Sound knowledge of routing, switching and network security
Independent, solution-oriented and reliable working style
Enjoyment of direct customer contact and technical challenges
Very good German and English skills
