Metrology Technician (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Independent programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines (Mitutoyo) as well as performing highly precise 3D measurements
• Creation of detailed measurement protocols and initial sample inspection reports as binding quality basis
• Expert evaluation of measurement results as well as identification of trends or critical deviations
• Support of relevant departments in understanding and interpreting complex measurement results
• Active participation in root cause analysis and consulting on metrological issues throughout the manufacturing process

Your Profile

• Technical basic training (e.g. polymechanic) with solid experience in industrial metrology
• Proficient in programming 3D coordinate measuring devices - ideally with Mitutoyo systems
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings, especially form and position tolerances
• Structured and precise working method with the aim of delivering absolute reliability in data
• Willingness to work in underground 2-shift operation
• Ability to prepare complex measurement results factually and communicate them precisely and understandably to the departments
