For our client, DataTrust AG in Wil SG, we are looking for a committed individual as a System Technician / System Engineer Datacentre & Infrastructure.
DataTrust is a specialised Swiss IT service provider focusing on data backup, archiving and highly available infrastructure services. The proprietary backup and archiving platform protects business-critical customer data daily - securely, reliably and automatically.
You can expect a young, small and familiar team that works closely together on site. On the 1st floor sits a well-coordinated team of support and system technology, where direct communication, shared laughter and hands-on work happen. We are looking for a person who already brings some professional experience, wants to take responsibility and fits well personally into an uncomplicated, lively team.

Your Tasks
- Operation, maintenance and further development of the internal IT and datacentre infrastructure
- Co-responsibility for two datacentres as well as general system technology
- Administration and support of Linux environments as well as supplementary Windows systems
- Operation and further development of server, storage, network and virtualisation environments
- Participation in topics around Docker, Kubernetes, Proxmox, Ceph, Azure and Microsoft 365
- Installation, maintenance and monitoring of operating systems, monitoring and system services
- Implementation of infrastructure projects such as migrations, rollouts and system renewals
- Support in 2nd and 3rd level support for technical customer enquiries
- Participation in cyber security, documentation, standardisation and automation
Our Requirements
- About 2-4 years of professional experience in system technology or a comparable role
- Solid knowledge in the Linux environment as well as basic knowledge in Windows
- Experience with servers, networks, virtualisation, storage and firewalls
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes or comparable platforms
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- You have already seen various infrastructure topics and can take responsibility without lengthy basic training
- Enjoyment of a young, direct and humorous team
- Customer-oriented attitude and good German skills in spoken and written form
