About the job
The Medical Clinic at the Cantonal Hospital Frauenfeld offers, in addition to extended basic internal medicine care, a very large specialised medical spectrum with broad diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities. We are an SIWF-recognised training centre of category A in General Internal Medicine and operate training centres for several other specialist medical trainings. Excellent training of assistant physicians is just as important to us as holistic patient care and excellent team spirit.

Senior Physician General Internal Medicine
You will take on
- Senior medical care of patients and supervision of assistant physicians on the wards, the interdisciplinary emergency department, and the Medical Outpatient Clinic. You will be part of a team and supported by experienced senior physicians
- Participation in the senior medical on-call system of the Medical Clinic as well as in the internal medicine consultation service for other clinics
- Commitment to education, further training, and continuing education, while also benefiting from a strong internal teaching culture
You bring with you
- Completed or well-advanced specialist training in General Internal Medicine. If the specialist title is not yet obtained, employment as a deputy senior physician is also possible
- A flair for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Enjoyment of teamwork, professional exchange with your colleagues, and teaching
- Organisational skills and social competence in dealing with patients and staff
- Excellent German language skills and experience in the Swiss healthcare system
