Mechanical Engineer Conveyor Technology (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 115,000Our ROCKEN partner is an expert in customised conveyor systems for the food and pharmaceutical industries. With extensive experience, they offer automation solutions and optimised operational processes through individually tailored conveyor belts. In addition to locksmith work according to customer requirements, our partner also provides comprehensive service, including maintenance, repair, and supply of spare parts to ensure smooth operation and minimise downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Design, development, and construction of machines and systems
- Creation of technical drawings and models using 3D CAD programmes, especially Catia V5
- Design and calculation of mechanical components and systems
- Collaboration with other departments such as manufacturing, assembly, and sales to implement projects
- Optimisation of existing products and processes regarding functionality, quality, and costs
- Conducting feasibility studies and risk analyses
- Compliance with standards, guidelines, and quality standards in mechanical engineering
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering or completed apprenticeship as a designer with appropriate further training
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in mechanical or plant engineering
- Very good knowledge in the use of 3D CAD programmes, especially Catia V5
- Experience in the design and calculation of mechanical components and systems
- Analytical thinking and solution orientation in problem solving
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
