Responsibilities
- Technical further development, maintenance and optimisation of the Java-based shop backend on the SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
- Assuming technical responsibility for all software-related aspects from conception through implementation to operation and support
- Planning and realisation of new functionalities as well as integration of external systems and services (e.g. PIM, ERP, Payment, Fulfilment) in collaboration with internal departments, external development partners and product owners
- Ensuring a stable, high-performance and future-oriented e-commerce platform using modern software architectures
- Maintaining technical documentation, supporting 2nd-level support and coordinating and liaising with partners
Requirements
- Solid knowledge in object-oriented software development with Java and practical experience working with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), including extending existing modules and developing custom extensions
- Knowledge of modern web and server technologies (e.g. Spring Framework, RESTful APIs) as well as confident handling of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, SAP HANA)
- Experience with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins and agile development methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Very good understanding of e-commerce processes and related systems (PIM, ERP, Payment, Fulfilment)
- Ability for structured problem analysis, strong communication skills, professional experience in the field and business fluent German skills
