Role:
In your role as an Automation Technician (m/f/d), you take responsibility for the programming, integration and commissioning of PLC controls as well as advanced robotic solutions. You act as the technical interface between engineering, production and customer service, support fault analysis and ensure reliable operation of all systems - both in-house and on-site at the customer.
Responsibilities:
Development and programming of control software for PLC systems (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal)
Setup and design of HMI interfaces (e.g. Siemens panels)
Assembly, commissioning and fine-tuning of industrial robot systems
Technical support for 2nd-level support in complex fault cases and troubleshooting
Participation in system integration and optimisation of automation solutions
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training in the field of automation, e.g. as an automation technician, electronics technician for automation technology or comparable qualification
Initial practical experience in PLC programming, control and automation technology
Knowledge of robotics is an advantage
Very good language skills in German or French
Driving licence class B for occasional customer assignments
