Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
You ensure the stable and secure operation of the network environment and manage switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN and VPN infrastructures.
You design and implement network and security solutions and continuously develop existing platforms.
You plan and accompany network projects such as migrations, segmentations, expansions and technological renewals.
You analyse complex faults and performance issues at 2nd and 3rd level and conduct sustainable root cause analyses.
You monitor network security and contribute to monitoring, patch management, backup/recovery and technical audits.
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science, ideally EFZ platform development, HF or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in network engineering or system engineering with demanding network environments.
Very good knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN and firewalling.
Experience with solutions from manufacturers such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto or comparable platforms; certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are a plus.
Analytical and structured working style, high personal responsibility as well as enthusiasm for complex technical tasks and continuous development.
