Role:
As Lead System Engineer, you are the central technical contact for your customers and ensure that their IT environments run stably and continue to develop. You install and maintain solutions around Microsoft Windows (Server/Client), Microsoft 365, VDI systems (Citrix/Horizon/RDS), and firewall technologies and reliably carry out maintenance. In day-to-day business, you support customer teams, solve complex challenges as a 3rd-level instance, and assist employees with technical questions. With your analytical thinking, sound expertise, and empathetic manner, you create technical excellence and trustworthy customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
You provide holistic support to your customers and continuously develop their environments
You install and maintain IT solutions based on Microsoft Windows (Server/Client), Microsoft 365, VDI systems (Citrix/Horizon/RDS), and firewall solutions
You plan and carry out maintenance work and ensure smooth operation
You actively support customer teams in their daily work
You act as an escalation level in 3rd-level support
Additionally, you support and advise employees on technical matters
Qualifications:
You have several years of experience in system engineering
You bring strong analytical skills
You possess very good expertise in the Microsoft 365 environment (M365, Intune, MDM, Teams) as well as in VMware (Horizon VDI, ESX)
You are motivated to continuously develop personally and professionally
You demonstrate a high degree of self-organisation
You are empathetic, maintain respectful interactions with colleagues and customers, and communicate very well in German and English
