Your Tasks
Providing support: As a member of the administration, you support all employees of the office with various organisational and administrative matters. You also provide information by phone, email or in person for external enquiries.
Connecting specialist areas: Together with your colleagues, you take on an important hub and coordination role within Urban Planning & Architecture. You maintain regular communication with employees in the departments.
Adhering to processes: You work within structured and digitalised processes. You are accustomed to networked thinking and acting. Working with various IT systems and the associated data maintenance is a key part of your duties.
Being accessible: For good coordination and mutual support within the team, the 60% workload is to be completed over 4 or 5 working days per week.
Your Profile
Experience: You have professional experience in the commercial field as well as a precise and independent working style. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (M365) is required. Ideally, you have an interest in political topics.
Personality: You are able to act flexibly in a dynamic environment. You are articulate and friendly in communication. As a service-oriented, reliable and team-oriented person, you appreciate exchanging with many people.
Education: You have completed commercial training.
Language: We require confident German language skills in both spoken and written form.
Insight into our Work
Urban Planning & Architecture (U&A) of the Department of Construction and Transport manages spatial and architectural developments of cantonal buildings, public spaces and districts up to the trinational agglomeration. Projects are assessed in terms of their overall impact on public and private interests. Usability, design quality, appropriate density, preservation and further development of the historical heritage, and an adequate approach to climate change are criteria for providing a high quality of life and stay.
