Job Description

As part of strengthening the teams of one of our clients, we are looking for a Full-Stack Perl Developer. You will contribute to the development, evolution, and operational maintenance of strategic business applications. You will work in a demanding technical environment where quality, robustness, and sustainability of developments are priorities.

Your responsibilities

Within the development team, you will be expected to:

• Design, develop, and enhance business applications, particularly those dedicated to document generation and management.
• Ensure corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing solutions to guarantee their reliability and performance.
• Develop features while respecting quality standards, best development practices, and defined architectural guidelines.
• Participate in analysing production incidents, identify causes of malfunctions, and implement corrective actions.
• Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate operation and future developments.
• Work closely with analysts, architects, and other developers to ensure coherence of implemented solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the application portfolio and share your knowledge with other team members.

Candidate Profile

Your profile

• Higher education degree in computer engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of experience in application development with Perl.
• Excellent command of software development fundamentals: object-oriented programming, functional programming, data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
• Significant experience in developing management applications within development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Perl (version 5.10 or higher) and associated modern development practices.
• Good command of web technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, as well as a modern JavaScript framework.
• Knowledge of the Mojolicious and Catalyst frameworks.
• Experience with software quality tools and practices: unit testing, Git Flow, SQL, and Linux environments.
• Excellent command of French.
