About the job
At the Head and Neck Tumour Centre of the Inselspital, we support patients with complex head and neck tumours throughout the entire treatment pathway – from diagnosis through surgical and oncological therapy to aftercare or palliative care. Our interprofessional team is committed daily to combining the highest treatment quality, innovation, and humanity.
What to expect
- Independent execution of nursing assessments, clinical examinations, and evidence-based interventions
- Conducting outpatient and inpatient nursing and consultation sessions
- Promoting self-management as well as advising and educating patients and relatives
- Coordinating complex treatment pathways and ensuring continuous care across sector boundaries
- Participation in tumour boards and interprofessional case discussions
- Assuming defined delegated medical tasks within the framework of Advanced Nursing Practice
- Coaching and supporting nursing teams in demanding clinical situations
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing concepts
- Ensuring nursing quality within the shared governance team
- Active involvement in the strategic further development of the ANP offering
Your profile
- Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) or close to completing studies (2/3 completed)
- Diploma as a nursing specialist HF or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Several years of professional experience in an acute hospital
- Ideally experience in oncology, ENT, oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery, or a comparable specialty
- Enjoyment of complex clinical issues and interprofessional collaboration
- Strong clinical decision-making and advisory skills
- Initiative, sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm for innovation
- Passion for evidence-based practice, quality development, and research
