Strategic Buyer CAPEX 100% (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Develop global category strategies for G&A expenses and capital goods.
Manage tenders, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
Support major investment projects from the purchasing perspective.
Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and the sites.
Maintain the strategic supplier portfolio and conduct regular negotiations.
Establish policies and standards for procurement.
Achieve savings and improve total costs over the procurement cycle.
Assess commercial risks and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.
Qualifications:
Completed studies in business administration, purchasing, supply chain, or engineering.
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing or category management.
Practical knowledge in indirect procurement areas and CAPEX projects.
Experience with complex tenders and high-volume procurement projects.
Strong skills in negotiation, analysis, and project management.
Confident appearance towards executives and various departments.
Willingness to travel internationally as well as knowledge of Power BI or artificial intelligence is a plus.
Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form; additional national languages are an advantage.
