Senior Development Engineer 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You lead a motivated, small R&D team professionally and bring your projects to success together

• You bear the technical responsibility for the entire product portfolio and develop it strategically

• You devise innovative technical solutions and designs for windows, lift-and-slide doors, sliding doors, and glazing systems

• You manage exciting projects to further develop existing products and set new impulses

• You take care of all necessary static, thermal, and building physics calculations

• You build prototypes and test them thoroughly in our in-house testing laboratory

• You accompany the path to series production and create meaningful system documentation for engineering, production, and sales

• You work closely with internal departments and coordinate external suppliers and partners

What do I need to be successful?

• You have successfully completed studies in metal, façade, or timber construction or have a technical training with suitable further education in these areas

• You bring several years of practical experience in development and/or project management

• You are very familiar with building envelopes or come from a technical profession and have a genuine passion for wood, glass, or aluminium

• You are an organisational talent with strong communication skills, remain flexible, do not give up easily, and are a true team player

• You speak fluent German; English skills are a plus

• You are confident in handling SIA standards, 2D and 3D drawing tools (e.g. AutoCad), building physics tools (e.g. Flixo), and MS Office
