About our client
Our client is an internationally established, steadily growing Swiss industrial group in the field of precision engineering with over 1,000 employees and several production and sales locations in Switzerland and Asia. As part of the further development of the global finance organisation, we are exclusively seeking a professionally competent, structured and independent individual for international group accounting.
Your tasks
Group consolidation: Responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER using modern consolidation software (LucaNet).
Data verification & intercompany: Plausibility checks and quality control of financial data from worldwide group companies as well as monitoring of intercompany reconciliations.
Support & advice: Professional contact for the international finance teams on site regarding accounting questions, valuation issues and group reporting.
Audit coordination: Central interface to external auditors and coordination of worldwide group audits.
Process optimisation & ICS: Active development and standardisation of global closing and reporting processes, maintenance of the Group Accounting Manual and expansion of the internal control system.
Finance projects: Taking an active role in international system and finance projects and their implementation in subsidiaries.
Qualifications
Your profile
Education: Successfully completed degree (FH/University) with a focus on controlling/finance, industrial engineering or a comparable higher qualification.
Professional experience: Several years of proven experience in production or plant controlling of a manufacturing industrial company.
Expertise: Deep understanding of operational value chains, manufacturing cost calculations, project controlling and investment calculations.
IT & tools: Very good Excel skills and proficient use of modern ERP systems (experience with proALPHA is an advantage).
Personality: Hands-on mentality, strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial thinking and communication strength at the interfaces to production, R&D and management.
Languages: Business fluent German and good English skills in spoken and written form.
