For our location in Laufen / Baselland, we are looking for a:
Employee: Customs Competence Centre 100% (m / f / d)
In this versatile role, you will support and complement the existing team in our Customs Competence Centre.
What tasks await you with us:
- Preparation of customs documents
- Handling and monitoring of export and import customs clearance
- Organising and coordinating transports in export and import
- Maintaining customs and transport relevant master data in the ERP and customs system
- Tariffing and classification of goods according to customs tariff
- Ensuring compliance with customs, export and transport regulations
What we expect from you professionally:
- Completed commercial basic training as well as further training in transport or customs
- Very good German and good English skills, knowledge of Italian and French is an advantage
- Experience in operational import and export processing as well as in preparing customs documents
- Basic knowledge of customs tariffing and customs regulations (CH/EU)
- Experience in coordinating transports
- Very good SAP and MS Office skills
Ideally, you bring experience from export, import processing, logistics or a forwarding agency and are also a communicative personality who keeps a cool head even in hectic situations.
