Development Engineer Electrical Engineering (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to develop innovative electrical engineering products and accompany technical solutions from the initial idea to series production? In this versatile role, you take responsibility for demanding development projects around railway heating systems, load banks, and resistor systems, bringing your ideas directly into practice.
Responsibilities:
Planning and management of development projects for railway heating systems, load banks, and resistor applications
Technical support throughout all development phases – from concept to series production
Planning, execution, and documentation of tests, feasibility studies, and fault analyses
Creation of technical specifications, requirements and functional specifications, as well as data sheets and operating instructions
Recording technical customer requirements on site and leading technical discussions
Development of practical solutions in compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
Support of technical sales in complex enquiries and in 3rd-level support
Qualifications:
Basic electrical engineering education with further training as a FH Electrical Engineer or degree in mechanical engineering with solid electrical or electromechanical experience
Experience in project management and enthusiasm for technical development tasks
Fluent German skills as well as good English skills, both spoken and written
Enjoy working in small teams and appreciate short decision-making paths in an SME environment
Creativity, initiative, and a pronounced can-do attitude
