Are you ready to get hands-on with GMP manufacturing for early-phase clinical therapies? As a Downstream Operations Associate Specialist (m/f/d), you'll be right at the heart of the action, helping bring next-generation biologics from process to patient.

About our client
For our client, an innovative company in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector, we are looking for a Downstream Operations Associate Specialist (m/f/d). The organisation specialises in the GMP-compliant production of early-phase clinical therapies and is known for pushing forward new technologies within biologics manufacturing.
Your responsibilities
- Set up, run and troubleshoot downstream processes in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
- Apply and uphold GMP principles and EHS standards consistently within your area of responsibility
- Draft and update SOPs and (electronic) master batch records, and review process-transfer documentation from a technical perspective
- Manage materials using ERP systems (SAP)
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the roll-out of new technologies, including non-GMP engineering runs and test activities
- Take part in sampling activities and on-call duties as required by the production schedule, occasionally including weekend work
What you bring
- A relevant educational background paired with 1–2 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- A solution-oriented mindset, curiosity to keep learning, and the drive to continuously improve existing processes
- The ability to stay composed and take ownership in a demanding GMP environment
- A flexible, collaborative approach when working with internal and external stakeholders to reach ambitious goals
- Business fluency in English and German
- A driving licence (category B) and access to a car is an advantage, to support on-call duties
