The Care Directorate embodies the authority in matters of care. Its mission is to guarantee the quality and safety of care within the establishment. As such, the Care Directorate oversees all care activities (nurses and various health professional groups). To fulfil its mission, it relies on three areas of expertise: quality, sustainability and digital innovation; clinical expertise and professional practices; management and transformation.
You ensure the hospital and outpatient care of patients followed in acute care medicine sectors by providing an attentive, structured approach tailored to individual needs. You also provide specific nutritional care both in acute care and for chronic diseases.
You contribute to the harmonisation of care practices by ensuring compliance with recommendations issued by expert societies and actively participating in the continuous improvement of care quality. You work closely with the specialised multidisciplinary team and take part in clinical and functional meetings to support a coordinated and coherent approach around patients.
When necessary, you cover for colleagues in other acute care units, ensuring continuity and quality of services. Finally, you actively contribute to the training of students and health professionals.
Qualifications
You hold a HES dietitian qualification or an equivalent recognised title (Red Cross recognition), and you are proficient with the computer tools necessary for your work.
You have a good command of English.
You are skilled in indirect calorimetry measurements as well as bioimpedance techniques for assessing body composition. You have a good knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques, enabling you to effectively support patients in their behaviour changes.
You have experience caring for adult patients in acute medical care or in chronic disease situations such as obesity, diabetes or cardiovascular diseases.
You demonstrate strong teamwork skills, the ability to argue and negotiate in an interprofessional environment. You communicate confidently and can integrate quickly into a new team. Your reflective attitude, intellectual and professional curiosity, as well as your autonomy in time and organisational management complete your profile.
