Automotive Mechanic 70 – 80% from January 2027

Garage Tosoni, a family business located in Gimel, is looking for an experienced automotive mechanic to join its team from 1 January 2027.

We are seeking an autonomous, versatile, and trustworthy person capable of handling everyday mechanical work and independently managing a small workshop.

Your mission:

• As an automotive mechanic, you will be responsible for, among other things:
• Preparation and repair of vehicles for inspections
• Maintenance services and repair work
• Common mechanical and electrical repairs
• Diagnosis and fault finding
• Work on various vehicle systems
• Assembly and replacement of parts
• Vehicle checks and tests
• Preparation of vehicles before delivery to the customer
• More generally, all work related to automotive mechanics
• You will also be responsible for organising and ensuring the smooth running of the workshop, with a high degree of autonomy in your work.

Your profile:

• We are looking for a person:
• With a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an automotive mechanic:
• With at least 5 years of experience in the field
• Holder of a category B driving licence
• Autonomous, organised and conscientious
• Versatile and able to find solutions
• Comfortable managing unforeseen events and stressful periods
• Able to work independently and manage a small workshop
• Reliable, responsible and with a strong work ethic
