Who are we?

Roger Seematter SA is a Swiss SME specialised in the sale, installation, maintenance and repair of professional equipment mainly intended for the hospital hygiene and laundry sectors.

To strengthen our technical team, we are looking for a versatile, autonomous and organised maintenance and assembly technician, residing in the Lausanne region.

Your area of operation will mainly cover the canton of Vaud and neighbouring regions. Depending on service needs and operational requirements, you may occasionally be required to work throughout French-speaking Switzerland.

Your main tasks – Maintenance and assembly

• Carry out preventive maintenance operations on our professional equipment.
• Participate in the installation, assembly and commissioning of new equipment.
• Perform maintenance, adjustment and routine repairs.
• Take part in dismantling, replacement and removal of machines.
• Ensure follow-up of interventions and write the corresponding reports.
• Collaborate with after-sales technicians and other members of the technical team.

Additional tasks – Replacement of the logistician

• Receive, check and prepare goods.
• Organise and carry out deliveries and transport of machines.
• Ensure loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Prepare equipment, parts and materials necessary for installations and interventions.
• Manage and monitor stock in our ERP system.
• Ensure good organisation of the depot and storage areas.

These logistical tasks are performed exclusively as part of the logistician’s replacement and do not constitute the main activity of the position.

Your profile

• Completed technical training (CFC in a mechanical, electrical, electromechanical field or equivalent training).
• Experience in maintenance, assembly or installation of technical equipment.
• Good practical knowledge of mechanics and electricity.
• Manual dexterity and ease with technical work.
• Ability to work independently and in an organised manner.
• Versatility, rigour and sense of responsibility.
• Team spirit, flexibility and good customer contact.
• Good command of French, both spoken and written.
• Category B driving licence essential.
• Residence must be located in the Lausanne region or immediate vicinity.

Experience in professional laundry equipment or logistics is an asset but not essential.
