We are looking for a committed individual who will actively help shape the future of geriatric psychiatry with us. In everyday practice, you will contribute your in-depth expertise and support the nursing team in the inpatient setting based on a recovery-oriented and person-centred approach. Together with the nursing experts, you will actively participate in the continuous development of work organisation as well as in the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative concepts.
Your tasks
- You will work on the development and implementation of the Bachelor profile in the inpatient setting of geriatric psychiatry, including clinical assessment and specialist leadership. You will receive comprehensive induction, coaching and support from an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
- You will take care of and support patients
- You will keep an overview of the current situation on the ward
- You will support team members in complex care situations
- You will work closely with nursing experts, especially in complex situations and with recurring patients
- You will be part of the interprofessional team
- You will actively participate in practice development projects
Your profile
- You have a completed Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- You bring professional experience in psychiatry and/or in the care of people with dementia and delirium
- You impress with excellent manners as well as pronounced social and professional competence
- You work independently and keep a cool head even in hectic moments
- You are characterised by an appreciative basic attitude, which you combine with humour and enthusiasm
