About the job
University Clinic for Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy

Would you like to gain practical experience in clinical research and actively participate in innovative projects on suicide prevention? In this internship, you will independently conduct neuropsychological tests (Go/No-Go, Stroop) and structured interviews (Mini-DIPS) and witness how your contribution supports scientific findings. In our research group, we investigate neuropsychological and psychological mechanisms of suicidal experiences and behaviours as well as the effectiveness of innovative psychotherapeutic interventions. The focus is on two clinical studies: * NePsy P1: Cross-sectional study on neuropsychological differences between people after a suicide attempt, people with suicidal thoughts, and clinical and non-clinical control persons. * NePsy P2: Longitudinal study to examine the effects of psychological interventions on neuropsychological and clinical variables. The internship is offered as a compulsory internship within the MSc Psychology programme (minimum 300 hours) and takes place as needed at our locations at Murtenstrasse 21 in Bern and at Bolligenstrasse 111 in Ostermundigen.
