Senior Physician/Specialist in Angiology (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you will take on the personnel, professional, and organisational leadership of the Angiology department with responsibility for high-quality, patient-centred care. You will care for and treat hospitalised and outpatient patients with the full spectrum of angiological diseases and perform non-invasive diagnostics including duplex sonography and ABI. Additionally, you will be responsible for the further development of the diagnostic and therapeutic service offerings as well as interdisciplinary collaboration with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, cardiology, internal medicine, and other specialties. You will ensure high quality and safety standards, participate in clinical duties, and engage in continuing education activities and, if interested, clinical research projects. As an experienced specialist physician with proven angiological expertise and leadership experience, you bring entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication skills, and a high level of service and patient orientation.
Responsibilities:
- You will take on the personnel, professional, and organisational leadership of the Angiology department at all KSBL locations
- In this role, you will ensure high-quality, patient-centred angiological care
- As Senior Physician/Specialist in Angiology, you will care for and treat hospitalised and outpatient patients with the full spectrum of angiological diseases
- You will perform and interpret all non-invasive angiological diagnostics including duplex sonography and ABI
- In this role, you will further develop the diagnostic and therapeutic service offerings as well as interdisciplinary collaboration and work closely with the involved specialties
- You will supervise and provide further training for assistant and specialist physicians and engage in continuing education activities and, if interested, clinical research projects
Qualifications:
- You hold the specialist title in General Internal Medicine and Angiology.
- You bring several years of clinical experience and proven expertise in the full spectrum of Angiology.
- You have leadership experience with appropriate further training and enjoy developing a team and a modern specialist department.
- You think entrepreneurially and are ready to strategically further develop Angiology.
- You have experience in your own research projects and are interested in participating in ongoing projects.
- You are an empathetic, committed personality with a high level of service and patient orientation as well as strong communication skills and a networked, goal-oriented working style.
