Contact Agent (a)

In the Central Switchboard, you are the voice of our hospital: friendly, empathetic and solution-oriented. As the first point of contact on the main number, you receive the concerns of patients, relatives, referring parties and employees and ensure that they are quickly and reliably connected to the right department – even when things get hectic.

What to expect

• Receiving and forwarding incoming calls on the main number
• Providing telephone information for the entire Insel Group
• Operating priority lines for referring parties
• Mobilising on-call doctors and other on-call services
• Triaging and responding to enquiries about the MyInsel app and the InselLink referrer portal (excluding technical support)

What you bring

• Friendly, communicative manner with a strong service orientation
• Quick comprehension of complex issues and the ability to articulate these fluently over the phone
• German as a native language as well as fluent knowledge of French and English; any additional foreign language is an advantage
• Precise and reliable working style as well as flexibility and resilience
• Confident IT user skills
• Ideally professional experience in the commercial sector, telephony, a call agency, reception or similar
• Willingness to work irregular hours (Monday to Friday between 06:45 and 22:00 and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays between 07:40 and 22:00)
